Why Rohr Studios?

  • We offer options for every age in the family; themed dance camps for Tots (3-5yo) and Pres (6-8yo), and we offer dance intensives for dancers 9-13yo. 
​
  • Each camp is structured with age appropriate developmental exercises and activities, to keep each student engaged, excited and growing.

  • Our teachers are L.A. professional dancers with cutting-edge industry knowledge that you can only find here at Rohr Studios.

  • Students are exposed to a wide variety of dance and performance styles so each child will find a class that they love. 
​​
  • You will be supporting a healthy lifestyle with your kids getting their daily does of physical activity. 
​​
  • Camps/Intensives are often frequented by Los Angeles or New York Guest Instructors who bring in exciting new classes for our dancers. 
​​
  • You know that your dancer is in a structured, safe and supportive environment.
​​
  • Our Easy Extension program allows parents that work the convenience of not having to make childcare arrangements before and after camp.

Tot Dance Camp 

 

Ages 3.5-6

​

Date: July 8th-12th 2024

Time: Tentative 9:00a-1:00p

​

Through the week we will dance, learn choreography which we present to you and your family at the end of the week, read stories, color, craft, and play, all with new and exciting daily themes. Your little stars will learn and practice skills like…

​

  • Building Coordination and Strength - in our variety of different dance classes.

​

  • Following Directions - when we practice our Right & Left in “Mud Puddle Jumps” across the floor. 

​

  • Active Listening - in learning the rules to daily games such as “Crazy 8’s” where we learn to count music while using tambourines.

​

  • Respecting Adults and Peers - when meeting their fun teachers and new best friends.

​

  • Taking Turns - in Acro class to perform their rolls and cartwheels down the mat.

​

  • Classroom Etiquette – when taught the proper way to curtsy/bow and thank their teachers when closing ballet class.

​

  • Responsibly – in helping clean up after crafts & lunch sessions. 

​

  • Confidence – by mastering our magical obstacle courses where we travel thru Candyland ,while working on new tumbling skills.   

​

  • Creativity – in our Candy Theme in HipHop dance. 

​

  • Imagination - during reading and crafts as we make different projects come to life.

​

  • Commitment and Determination – when they receive stickers and stamps after working hard and completing a challenging step in Hiphop class.

​

  • Artistry - through their own individual expression of the music.

 Novice Dance Camp

Ages 7-8 (all levels), 9-12 (novice)

 

Date: July 15th-19th 2024

Time: Tentative 9:00a-2:30p

​

Through the week we will dance, learn choreography, color, and craft, all with new and exciting daily themes. Your dancer will learn and practice skills like…

​

  • Building Coordination and Strength - in our variety of different dance classes.

​

  • Following Directions - as we build more complicated footwork in tap class.

​

  • Active Listening - in applying corrections as they see their dancing improve. 

​

  • Respecting Adults and Peers - when meeting their fun teachers and new best friends.

​

  • Taking Turns - in Acro class to perform their rolls and cartwheels down the mat.

​

  • Classroom Etiquette – when taught the proper way to curtsy/bow and thank their teachers when closing ballet class.

​

  • Responsibly – in helping clean up after crafts & lunch sessions.

​

  • Confidence – by mastering new skills.

​

  • Creativity – in our "Body Parts" improv games in HipHop.

​

  • Imagination - during story time when they get to interpret their favorite stories through dance.

​

Junior Dance Camp

​

Ages: 9-13

 

Date: July 22nd -26th 2024

Time: 9:00a-4:00p

​

Through the week we will explore many styles of dance, build our strength, technique and artistry. Your dancer will practice skills like…

​

  • Learning proper classroom etiquette in Ballet class.

​

  • Improving flexibility and strength Stretch & Strength class.

​

  • Building confidence performing sassy combos in Jazz class.

​

  • Active listening while applying corrections in Technique/ Progressions.

​

  • Developing self-confidence while performing new tricks in Acro class. 

​

  • Expressing artistry by interpreting music and lyrics in Lyrical class.

​

  • Building imagination while telling stories through Musical Theatre.

​

  • Developing creativity while finding their own style in HipHop class.

​

  • Commitment & Determination in taking on all the steps, activities and challenges through the week. â€‹â€‹

Rates / Payment​

​

  • Tots- Early Bird Special $TBD per student before TBD. This includes dance instruction, supervision, props, crafts and snacks.

  • Pres- Early Bird Special $TBD per student before TBD. This includes dance instruction, supervision, props, crafts and snacks.

  • Juniors- Early Bird Special $TBD per student before TBD. This includes dance instruction, supervision, props, and snacks.

​

  • All fees must be paid prior to first day of camp. Early bird specials must be paid at the time of registration.

​

  • We accept cash, cards, and check. (There will be a $30.00 charge for any returned checks.)​

Attire / What To Bring

​

  • Tot/Pre/Novice/Junior students can wear anything that is comfortable to move around in and will stay in place while tumbling (leggings/shorts/sweats/fitted t-shirts/tank tops/sportswear/etc).
    Intermediate Juniors will also be expected to wear pink tights, a leotard of their choice and have their hair in a bun for ballet class at the beginning of the day. 

​

  • Students do not need special dance shoes to participate in summer camps.
    If they own dance shoes, please send them with al their shoes as well as some kind of flat full coverage shoe like tennis-shoes/sneakers/convers/etc (not sandals).
    If they do not own dance shoes, please send them with a pair of socks and some kinds of flat full coverage shoe like tennis-shoes/sneakers/convers/etc (not sandals).

​

  • Please send your child with their own energy packed lunch every day. We will provide the healthy snacks.

​

  • Please send your child with water to keep them hydrated through their active day. We do have a water fountain at the studio if they forget, but it's nice for them to have a personal water source. No liquids allowed in the studio accept water
